Catechetics Section Menu
"The Church has always considered catechesis one of her primary tasks, for, before Christ ascended to His Father after His resurrection, He gave the apostles a final command - to make disciples of all nations and to teach them to observe all that He had commanded. He thus entrusted them with the mission and power to proclaim to humanity what they had heard, what they had seen with their eyes, what they had looked upon and touched with their hands, concerning the Word of Life. He also entrusted them with the mission and power to explain with authority what He had taught them, His words and actions, His signs and commandments. And He gave them the Spirit to fulfill this mission."

Catechist of the Month
Our catechists are so important to our religious education and we are very fortunate to have a great team of volunteers for our children. This month we are honoring Phillip and Michelle Campo for their excellent work with religious education. Phillip and Michelle teach the 5th graders and what a team they make. They take a lot of time with their lesson plans and share their gifts freely with the 5th graders. Phillip and Michelle utilize the Blestarewe.com website along with the teacher's manual to make the lessons mare interesting.. Many thanks to both of you for such a great job.
The Campos are involved with their children in many of the activities at St. Jude: Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets, VBS, Haunted Hay Ride, Etc. They truly show us what living our faith as a family can mean.
Join us in congratulating them on being St. Jude Catechists of the month.
